GATCA was established in 1978. As the State Association it serves gifted children, their parents, their teachers and a range of others who work in the field of gifted education. GATCA is about recognising, and providing for, the special needs of gifted children. Membership is open to all those wishing to ensure that children of high ability are supported socially, emotionally and intellectually - at home and at school.
